WHERE there’s a will there’s a way to support Sheffield’s St Luke’s Hospice.

Eight of Sheffield’s top law firms are supporting Will Month, the Whirlow hospice’s annual fundraiser.

Throughout April, the public can have a basic will drawn up for a suggested donation of £50 for a single will, £90 for a joint will or just £40 for a straightforward amendment to an existing will.

Places are limited and should be booked before the end of March.

Taking part in the event are legal firms Bell & Buxton, Best, Coates, hlw Keeble Hawson, Irwin Mitchell, Rosalind Watchorn, Simpson Sissons & Brooke and Taylor & Emmet.

Kathryn Burkitt, St Luke’s head of fundraising, said: “Will Month is an excellent way to not only keep your affairs in order but also to make a great contribution to St Luke’s.”

Staff at the supermarket have chosen the hospice as their charity of the year and have already raised more than £6,000.

Their regular donation days give the public the chance to drop off clothing, books, CDs, DVDs and household goods for sale at the St Luke’s nine charity shops.

The St Luke’s collection van will be at the Crystal Peaks car park, close to the main entrance of Sainsbury’s, on Monday, from 11am till 2pm.
