Award-winning, Sheffield-based innovator Loadhog has teamed up with one of its suppliers to launch a pioneering swap scheme for apprentices.

The company, whose products have revolutionised the way goods are moved, has been hosting 23-year-old Robert Silvester, pictured, who is an apprentice with Luxus, a Lincolnshire-based supplier of technical plastics.

During his placement at Loadhog. Mr Silvester has been working on product design, prototyping, materials selection and testing with the specialist team of designers and engineers within the company’s ideas and innovation centre.

Loadhog’s Rob Deakin, says the swap has helped Loadhog and Luxus understand each other’s capabilities and boundaries.
