Part of a historic Sheffield hospital could be turned into apartments.

Mark Elliott, of Mabec Properties Limited, wants to convert Heritage House and the Roundhouse, part of the old Royal Infirmary site now known as Heritage Park in Upperthorpe.

The main hospital building was built in the 1790s and is Grade II*-listed, while the Roundhouse is Grade II-listed.

According to a heritage statement prepared by the Museum of London Archaology, the proposal is to completely renovate and refurbish the buildings and turn them into seven flats.
