The Sheffield offices of three leading law firms have gained equal ranking for their work on behalf of local government.
Nabarro, DLA Piper and Irwin Mitchell share second place.
Nabarro’s department, led by Tim Shaw and including Mark Rocca, mainly handles complex, high-value work for larger local authorities and has strength in fields that include sport and leisure, education and housing.
DLA Piper and Irwin Mitchell’s Sheffield and Leeds offices share the honour.
The DLA Piper team has extensive expertise in high-value operational and infrastructure projects, including handling regulatory matters and providing strategic advice on transport matters.
Irwin’s practice, overseen by Michael Longden, has significant experience in joint procurement initiatives for education IT services and the firm’s client list includes private sector organisations such as the Leeds Learning Network.
