Commercial property agents Toby Vernon and Roger Haworth have launched their own consultancy in Sheffield after leaving CBRE, where they were both senior directors.
The duo have more than 30 years’ experience of working in the commercial property market in Yorkshire, the North Midlands and the North East.
Six years ago they opened an office in Sheffield for specialist industrial and logistics agency M3, which was subsequently acquired by M3.
Now, they have set up Commercial Property Partners.
Toby Vernon said: “We felt this was the right time to branch out on our own. Our new business will be a regional practice, focusing on transactional work including leasing, sales, acquisitions and investment brokerage.
“Commercial Property Partners will be a cross-sector agency, dealing not only with industrial/logistics agency and investment, but also offices, land and development consultancy. Our regional focus will be on Yorkshire, the North Midlands and the North East.”
Roger Haworth added: “We are hitting the ground running, with over three million square feet of buildings to market, together with 550 acres of development land.
“We have had great support from our very loyal client base and we look forward to developing these relationships further.
“We are optimistic about the property market within this region. The market has been through a tough few years, but it is now definitely improving with increasing levels of occupier demand.
“We have seen strong levels of take-up over recent years, which have rebalanced the levels of building supply within the region.
“We are also witnessing improved investor demand seeking good returns within our region. Pricing remains attractive, particularly when compared to other areas, and the rise in leasing activity has led to increased investor appetite.”
