Engineering companies from across Yorkshire are being offered an insight into the latest developments in machining by the Rotherham-based National Metals Technology Centre (NAMTEC).
The Centre, together with its Advanced Engineering and Materials forum, is staging a conference entitled Advances in Machining on Thursday.
AEM Yorkshire director, Alan McLelland, said: "This promises to be a hugely exciting conference for anyone involving in the machining of components for a wide range of markets.
"Leading industry experts will cover the latest technology and innovations to allow engineering companies to benefit from shared experience and to build relationships with others in the industry."
Speakers will include Gregor Kappmeyer, global head of machining at Rolls-Royce and Mark Wilson, head of manufacturing technology at BAE Systems.
The event takes place at the Mid Yorkshire Golf Club in Pontefract. For more information, tel: 01709 722479.
