Social enterprises, charities, community and volunteer groups are being offered the opportunity to secure essential funding when a UFO lands in Rotherham on Wednesday November 25
The Unidentified Funding Opportunity workshop takes place at Voluntary Action Rotherham and funding organisations attending will include The Big Lottery Reaching Communities Team and Awards For All, Charity Bank, South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau
, Humber Learning Consortium, Coal Fields Regeneration Trust, South Yorkshire Key Fund and South Yorkshire Community Foundation

Voluntary Action Rotherham's social enterprise manager, Alan Murphy, said: "This is a golden opportunity for anyone interested in social enterprise to engage with funders who manage substantial investment budgets.

"If you have an idea that would benefit your community this is an unmissable day, especially as public funding is expected to be harder to come by in the near future." Anyone wishing to attend should contact Mr Murphy, tel: (01709) 726891 or e-mail: alan.murphy@varotherham.org.uk
