A SHEFFIELD couple are enjoying the sweet taste of success after setting up their own catering company.
Richard Spataro and Blanche Duggleby, both 24, founded Coco Catering at the end of last year, with the help of BiG the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative-backed drive to increase business start ups and encourage them to flourish.

"I've always had a passion for food and have Italian heritage so I love their cooking," says Richard.

"I met Blanche at university and we discovered we shared a love for food. After university we decided to take a big step and set up our own catering company, Coco Catering."

The duo approached BiG and BiG neighbourhood enterprise champion Rob Murray helped them find funding and set up their business.

"It started out as a part-time project, but we both dedicate ourselves full time to the company to cope with demand," says Richard.

"At the moment it is still Blanche and I but we have some big bookings coming up in the near future, so we may have to expand and hire additional staff. The ultimate goal is to become established in Sheffield and move into cities like Manchester."

Rob Murray reckons the sky is the limit for Coco Catering: "They are constantly growing and have already achieved incredible success. Their business is a cut above what is already out there and their food is stunning."
