Corporate recovery specialists from Yorkshire and the North East met in Sheffield to discuss how companies can survive the current economic uncertainty.
The Yorkshire and North East region of the Society of Turnaround Professionals (STP) met at DLA Piper's offices in the city to exchange ideas and best practice at an event co-hosted by Grant Thornton.

Daren Bekisz, from Grant Thornton, said: "With the current economic climate, it's great to see an event that shifts the focus from financial doom and gloom to ways of stabilising and rehabilitating under-performing businesses.

"By reacting early to the warning signs and with the help of professionals experienced in such situations, businesses that might otherwise have folded can be put back on track."
