CHICAGO-based IT company Junction Solutions has chosen Sheffield as its European headquarters.
The $27 million turnover company, which specialises in creating tailored packages for specific industries, using Microsoft software, is starting out with a five strong team, but expects to be employing around 30 people by the end of the year.

hackeray, Junction Solutions' general manager in the UK, says: "We have ambitious plans, but Junction Solutions itself was only founded in 2003 and has grown quickly to employ over 140 people and reach a $27 million turnover.
"Sheffield is the best location for our European business because of the availability of leading edge IT experts. As the Number One Microsoft Dynamic Partner in the US, we are well placed to attract the right people to help us build a substantial European user-base.
"We are looking for experienced customer consultants as well as highly-skilled IT developers for the systems we provide to manufacturers."
Junction is working with Sheffield First for Investment's JobMatch service to recruit the right people for its business.
