A South Yorkshire lawyer specialising in accidents and fatalities at work has welcomed a decision which forces the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), to publish the names of people killed in work related incidents.
David Urpeth, head of works accidents at law firm Irwin Mitchell says the changes will make it easier for families and their solicitors to track how fatalities are dealt with by investigating and prosecuting authorities.
"It is important members of the public are informed about how people die at work and that lessons can be learnt," said Mr Urpeth.
