Sheffield's City Centre Business Group has been re-launched with the aim of encouraging further regeneration in the heart of the city.
The group, backed by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, also aims to create partnerships between existing city businesses, the public sector and organisations responsible for future regeneration and economic growth.

Sheffield Chamber policy and representation manager Helen Rana said: "We want to work together to promote the attractions of the city and surrounding region to create greater wealth from tourism, conferences, students and new organisations that choose to come to Sheffield, as well as existing businesses.

"Establishing common themes and goals while pooling ideas and resources will ensure we tell the Sheffield story coherently, both nationally and internationally."

City Centre Business Group chairman, Mark Lewis, managing director of John Lewis Sheffield, says the group's main focus will be to keep people excited and enthused about what is happening in the city centre.
