Funding has been set aside for more bus lane enforcement in areas of Sheffield.

Sheffield Council has allocated £82,000 which will be spent on two schemes.

The first aims to ensure bus lane and waiting restrictions on Glossop Road, Manchester Road and Brocco Bank, around the Broomhill area, comply with rules so they can be enforced by cameras.

The second involves changes to signs and markings on Meadowhall Road, Brightside Lane, Barnsley Road and Penistone Road, so bus lane enforcement by mobile cameras can begin.
