£8,000 fire safety deal

Assured Fire and Security has completed an £8,000 contract to provide a fire and security systems for the Sheffield-based Proper Pasty Company's new headquarters in Nursery Street.
The Dinnington-based firm has installed CCTV, access control systems, fire and intruder alarms, extinguishers and emergency lighting.

Assured managing director Simon Stokes said: "We were particularly pleased to be working with the Proper Pasty Co
mpany as it demonstrates the importance of local businesses supporting each other rather than always looking outside the area."

The Proper Pasty Company opened its flagship store in Sheffield city centre in August 1999 and now has shops from Newcastle and Leeds to Bakewell and Bath.
