The founder of one of the UK’s largest indoor play centres, the man behind a multimillion pound South Yorkshire business which started out on a dining room table and the boss of a fast expanding electronics business are in the running for a top Sheffield business award.
Dr Sipra Deb from The Play Arena, Jason Mace from Gala Tent and Rob Moore from Crampton and Moore have all reached the finals of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce’s Business Person of the Year Award.
All three of their companies have also been shortlisted for separate Chamber Awards – The Play Arena in the “Next Big Thing” category, Gala Tent for the Excellence in Manufacturing Award and Crampton and Moore for the Distinction in Retail Services Award.
A total of 36 companies will be vying for 13 awards to be presented at the event, which will take place at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre on February 1 and is now in its 11th year.
