Industrial recruitment agency, gap personnel, which has a branch in Sheffield, has secured a £20m funding facility from Close Brothers Invoice Finance - showing confidence in the brand, the senior management team, their forecasts - and the recruitment industry.

Lee Woodward, finance director - pictured with Fiona Parkinson of Close Brothers - said: “This is an important step in facilitating our strategic plans for gap personnel as we look to grow both organically and through acquisition.”

In 2013, gap personnel realised a turnover of £98m, an increase of 15 per cent on predictions. The Group is on target to reach £108m in 2014.

The firm was founded in 1997.
