A luxury Sheffield-based warehouse conversion scheme has sold out less than three months since its launch.
Knight Knox, a leading developer of buy-to-let developments for the private investor market, has announced that all 29 luxury apartments at Bells Court, a new £2.2million development on Bailey Street near the city centre, have sold.
Due for completion in summer 2016, the two-storey, 9,500sq ft urban warehouse block will include secure bicycle storage, an on-site laundry facility and a central courtyard garden.
Commercial director at Knight Knox Andy Phillips said: “Completely selling out Bells Court so quickly is a testament to the increasing attractiveness of Sheffield as a place to invest.
“There are great plans afoot for the area as the population continues to grow, and we’re delighted to be a part of it.
“Bells Court is a unique, bespoke development of studio apartments which perfectly balances modern fixtures and fittings with the original period features of the building, and will make a valuable contribution to our extensive portfolio of premium residential property.”
The scheme will be let and managed in its entirety by Intus Lettings, while Crossbow Ventures Ltd will act as developer for the scheme.
Previous successful schemes in collaboration with Crossbow include Dunfields, an 82-unit student property that is currently 100 per cent let, and Bento, a £2.2 million bespoke townhouse scheme currently available through Knight Knox.
Knight Knox’s success in Sheffield comes as part of increased activity within the greater Yorkshire area, with the property company having recently launched plans for a £19 million, 13-storey development in Leeds.
