Taking our boxing message to schools: BOXING AGAINST BULLYING

The Star's Boxing against Bullying campaign continues to send its message into local shools.
Sheffield's Glyn Rhodes is pictured with Loxley Primary school pupils along with trainer and boxers Matt Mowatt, John Fewkes, Lee Edwards and Carl Wild.

The Star and Sheffield Boxing Centre is promoting a message that youngsters do not have to put up with bullying.

It's a shame you think this Damon because I have seen the good work Glyn does in schools and it is very aspirational for all the children.

I contacted Glyn direct and he brought some young boxers, they were excellent role models for the children. He also contacted The Star, who organised a photographer, the children were given the opportunity to interview the boxers for the school magazine. All the boxers were incredibly patient with the children and encouraged the them to read, as part of the National Year for Reading.
