DONCASTER's Stefy Bull is considering his options after failing in his bid to win the British Masters light-welterweight title at the Dome.
Bull, who was looking to win his third title at a different weight, was outpointed by defending champion. Graeme Higginson over ten rounds.

"It is always disappointing when you lose any fight but I am not down in the dumps because I thought that I gave a good account of myself," said Bull last night.

"I just think I adopted the wrong game-plan; it's as simple as that.

"Although I am not looking to make excuses, the fact that it was only my second fight in 18 months was also probably a factor

"Fitness wasn't a problem because I felt I finished the last two rounds the stronger.

"It was more a case of a bit ring rust.

"I don't regret taking on the fight because the chance of fighting for a third title at a third different weight was too good to turn down.

"And even though he boxed well, and won the fight by a couple of rounds on the night, I still think that I can beat him.

"Whether I get the chance is partly down to me because I am thinking of dropping down to lightweight again.

"As I say, I am taking a few days off to think about where I go from here.

"People might think that because I was 31 in May that I am thinking about hanging up my gloves - not least due to the fact that I turned pro when I was 18.

"But that is not the case and, apart from the Amir Khan fight, I have not been knocked around much and still have ambitions.

"I want to box for more titles, but I may decide to have a couple of six-rounders to get my sharpness back."
