FORMER Sheffield United and Wednesday midfielder Alan Quinn scored twice as Ipswich romped to a 7-0 win in last night's pre-season friendly against Cliftonville in Belfast.
Gary Roberts, Alan Lee and Danny Haynes gave the visitors a 3-0 half-time lead, and the goals continued to flow despite wholesale substitutions thanks to Quinn's doubleand others from Jaime Peters and David Wright.

Crystal Palace were held to a 1-
1 draw by non-league Crawley after Thomas Pinault's second-half penalty cancelled out Paul Ifill's opener. Plymouth were 1-0 winners at non-league Tiverton thanks to Luke Somerfield's 30th-minute winner.

A trialist rescued a last-gasp 1-1 draw for Blackpool in the first match of their Latvian tour against FK Jurmala.

Artjoms Kuznecovs had earlier given the home side the lead from the penalty spot.
