Merson to play for 'Legends' side

EX-ARSENAL and England star Paul Merson has been signed up to play at Bramall Lane.
Merson has been confirmed as the fourth addition to the England Legends squad who will play Germany at Sheffield United's headquarters on Thursday August 7.

Merson joins ex-Liverpool striker Stan Collymore and Sheffield Legends Brian Deane and Des
Walker in a side to be manager by Peter Reid against Germany Legends which will be screened live on ITV4.

Reid said: "When people talk about England players not having the technical ability of the foreign players they only need to look at Merse and they have to take their words back."

The England and Germany Legends will play in aid of The British Red Cross Earthquake Appeal and for The Derek Dooley Memorial Cup..
