PADDY Kenny aims to collect another clean sheet at Hillsborough on Sunday.
The Sheffield United goalkeeper has enjoyed four shut-outs so far this season as Kevin Blackwell's side have climbed to fourth in the Championship but one in the Steel City derby would be the most precious of all.
Kenny said: "If you can keep clea
n sheets then you know that you're going to win or draw a game, definitely not lose it.
"We've made four so far and twice we've only conceded in injury time so that could quite easily have been six from 10 which would have been a tremendous achievement. But we're pleased with how we're doing up to press."
Although Matthew Kilgallon, Chris Morgan, Ugo Ehiogu, Sun Jihai, Gary Naysmith and, most recently, Kyle Naughton have all played a part in ensuring United's rearguard is one of the most miserly in the division, Kenny's influence should not be underestimated.
Kenny's organisational skills have been crucial in helping his team-mates develop a durability which should serve them well during the Steel City derby.
He said: "Sometimes games are harder and you sweat more when you've got nothing or very little to do.
"You've got to communicate and keep people going, make sure that everyone is aware of what's going on.
"We've shown that, whoever plays, we're a pretty tight unit.
"I stay concentrated by talking to the back four.
"I'll take 30 games this season and not touch the ball but that's not going to happen."
