ROB Hulse was ready to take out 12 months of frustration on Barnsley.
The Sheffield United striker confirmed his return to fitness against Norwich City last weekend almost a year to the day since he suffered a double leg fracture at Chelsea.
Hulse said: "I'm looking forward now, not back. What happened has made me even more determined to prove things to people. I went home after the Norwich game and I didn't have a sleepless night.
"I was satisfied with how I played and because of the date it was also a bit of a milestone for me.

"From now on I can concentrate on the future and forget about everything that has happened.
"Because things weren't going so well early season, perhaps I came back a little bit earlier than I should."
United travel to Oakwell on the back of a three-match winning run which has catapulted them from the brink of the relegation zone to 13th position.
And Hulse believes the presence of Kevin Blackwell has helped to accelerate his progress.
The former Crewe and West Brom striker played under Blackwell at Leeds and added: "Because I know the gaffer I don't feel as if I've got as much of a point to prove because he knows what I can do and what I'm capable of.
"Barnsley have shown that on their day they're capable of beating the best so we've got to go there and show what we can do and what we're capable of."
