BLADES' new signing Sun Jihai was sent off as Sheffield United chalked up a second Euro victory tonight - strikers Danny Webber and Billy Sharp once again among the goals.
But it was a horror night for Chinese international Sun Jihai on his Blades debut at KVK Tienen.
His timing was lacking in the first 19 minutes and he was guilty of some reckless challenges earning two yellow cards, before a red came his way.
The ex Manchester City man will certainly remember the first game in his two-year deal with the Bramall Lane club.
Yet United still had enough in reserve to win 3-1.
Tonight's friendly gave another stretch of the legs to the 22-man Blades squad, this time in Vlaams Brabant.
The scorers, Webber and Sharp, had done damage at the start of their Euro tour on Monday with a 3-2 victory over Ferencvaros, in Hungary.
And tonight they were again among the goals, as was David Carney as they beat Belgian second division side KVK Tienen 3-1.
United even scored for the Belgians in this friendly; defender Ugo Ehiogu collecitng an unwanted own goal.
Sharp scored from a long throw from Greg Halford before Ehiogu's headed blunder on 53 mins.
Carney reasserted Blades superiority on the scoreboard at this little ground with a right-footer.
Lee Hendrie made dividends when he broke into the box while getting tugs of the shirt by Vanhees with the referee pointing to the spot. Danny Webber took the responsibility and cooly placed the ball to the keepers right and rounded off his hat-trick of goals in the Blades European Tour so far.
After a rest, United go over the border into Holland to complete the three-centre tour with a friendly against another low profile team, Helmond Sport, on Saturday.
Blades: Bennett, Naughton, Ehiogu, Kilgallon (Morgan 67), Armstrong, Halford, Speed (Hendrie 58), Tonge (Sun 58), Quinn (Carney 45), Hulse (Stead 45), Sharp (Webber 58). Subs: Kenny, Naysmith, Geary, Gillespie, Montgomery.
