GHOSTHUNTER Derek Acorah has revealed how he predicted a car crash for a South Yorkshire football legend.
And the incident ended with him being reduced to tears after a dressing down by then Liverpool boss and all time great Bill Shankly!

Acorah, TV's popular psychic medium – appearing tomorrow night at Sheffield City Hall – was playing for Liverpool
FC reserves at the time, in the late 1960s.

He had a vision that new signing Emlyn Hughes would crash his new car. He warned him to be careful but Hughes, who went on to manage Rotherham and live in Sheffield, crashed his motor the next day. Acorah said he was called into the office by Shankly.

Have you ever had premonition? Post your comment below and tell us all about it.

"He wanted to know where all the visions came from. He told me to leave all that at home and just bring my boots and play football. I put my head in my hands and started sobbing. I thought he was going to drop me – but he just told me to go out and score goals,'' he told The Star.

See him at Sheffield City Hall, February 6, 7.30pm. Tickets are £17.50. Call the City Hall on 0114 2789 789, or visit sheffieldcityhall.co.uk

Derek Acorah's play-acting on Most Haunted is laughable especially when he pretends to be possessed by ghosts. I can't believe people are paying to see him.

That's amazing. I predicted something 40 years ago and that came too true! What tosh.
