AN OLD man who got stuck in his bath for two days was discovered by fire crews called to a blaze in his flat.
The man was found during checks on other tenants in the block after a couple were found semi-conscious after their home caught fire.

They were taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary suffering from the effects of smoke. Fire badly damaged their flat.

Firefighters broke into the flat in Eastgate, Goole and the man was taken to hospital.

A spokesman for the fire service said the man had a medical condition that had left him unable to move.

He added: "It is a very sad story for the man in the bath who was clearly in need of urgent medical treatment."
