WORK is set to begin to improve two flood-damaged roads near Barnsley.
The main route through Darfield will close on Sunday.
The A635 Doncaster Road will be closed to through traffic between Nanny Marr Road and Fitzwilliam Road to allow the excavation and resurfacing of the bridge deck over the River Dearne to be carried out.
On Monday, work starts on reconstructing and resurfacing 155 metres of the A628 Barnsley Road at Silkstone Fall.
