BARNSLEY folk are being asked for their views on controversial plans to create new sites for gipsies and travellers.
The council has already identified there is a need for more permanent and transit pitches across the borough and is looking for possible locations for new sites and is also considering expanding existing facilities.

People should write with their ideas to Housing and Community Safety Scrutiny Commission, Borough Secretary's Department, Barnsley Council, Town Hall, S70 2TA, email scrutiny@barnsley.gov.uk; or contact their local ward councillor.
