A MAN found hanged from the goalposts in Cudworth park has been named as Scott Christopher Hennessy.
Mr Hennessy, aged 29, from High Street, Shafton, was found after the ambulance service was alerted by an anonymous caller just before 3am on Friday.

When they got to the park they discovered the body suspended from the crossbar - Mr Hennessy was already dead.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances.

An inquest was due to be opened and adjourned today pending further inquiries.
