A POLICE car's windscreen was smashed in the Kendray area of Barnsley.
The patrol car was parked up in Cypress Road while two officers patrolled the area on foot on Friday night.

Two youths, one aged 16 and the other 17, were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and have been released on police bail pending a forensic examination of the damaged car.

Police are appealing for information from anyone in the area at the time. Call 01226 736 030.
