EMERGENCY paramedics are using new stand-by points across South Yorkshire to try to reach patients quicker.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service has updated its network of parking places where ambulance crews wait for 999 calls to ensure they reach all areas of the county as quickly as possible.
In South Yorkshire crews are using Aston Park fire station in Aston
, Chapeltown Swimming Pool in Burncross Road, and Sheffield United's stadium as well as points in the Thorne/Hatfield area of Doncaster, Thorpe Hesley in Rotherham and Doncaster Road in Darfield.
