PLANS to regenerate the centre of Goldthorpe are to go under the spotlight and residents are being urged to have their say.
The plans include a new junior and infant school, improved parks and green spaces and better access between Goldthorpe and surrounding villages.

Aim is to also regenerate the Doncaster Road and Barnsley Road shopping area, make the market the hear
t of the village centre, and tackle poor quality housing.

The consultation session at Goldthorpe Scout and Girl Guide Hut in Lockwood Road will be held tomorrow from 2pm to 7pm, on Thursday from 8am to 2pm and on Wednesday August 20 from 2pm to 7pm.
