BARNSLEY is aiming to sell itself as a prime location for films and television programmes which it hopes to achieve through a regional initiative.
The borough's council is one of 17 to sign a Film Friendly Partnership Charter, which aims to market places to production companies.

Barnsley's agreement is with Screen Yorkshire.
