BARNSLEY'S Katherine Brunt has warned world cricket there's plenty more still in the tank after she was named player of the series for England against India.
The 23-year-old has battled back from a career-threatening prolapsed disc injury.
Brunt, with a point to prove, was back to her best against the Indian tourists as England completed a 4-0 drubbing.
Having seen off India in style, adding to wins over New Zealand, West Indies and South Africa earlier this year, she insists that England will head to Australia for the World Cup in March brimming with confidence.
"This has been a fantastic summer of cricket," she said.
"Having spent so long out with my injury I began to question if I would ever come back, so to do so like this is a dream comes true.
"As a team all of the girls have performed exceptionally well all summer.
"It's a testament to everyone's hard work that we finish the season unbeaten.
"To be awarded with the player of the series trophy is such a bonus. It just proves makes all the hard work I had to put in was worthwhile. I wish I could share it with everyone who has helped me."
