SINGERS wanting to give their vocal chords a new challenge are invited to try out different styles of music at a workshop run by an American choir.
Corsican passion and dissonance, 18th century New England hymns, and South African harmonies are some of the types of music being taught by Northern Harmony. The Vermont-based choir is offering the workshop before its concert at The Upper Chapel, Nor
folk Street, on Tuesday October 21.

The choir's visit to Sheffield is hosted by the women's choir Body of Sound under musical director Helen Lyle.
