BUDDING poets still have time to enter their verse in the annual Buxton Poetry Competition.
Organised by the University of Derby, Buxton and the Buxton Festival, the competition was launched in October on National Poetry Day.

The closing date for entries is April 1, and entry is free to anyone aged under 19.

There are three competitio
n categories - open poetry for ages 19 and over, young people's poetry for ages 12 to 18 and children's poetry for poets aged 11 and under.
