A DONCASTER college student has scooped second prize in a Europe-wide competition.
University Centre Doncaster creative music technology student Tom Prendergast, pictured, finished in second place in the final of the Apple Creative Talent Contest in London on Friday, June 13.

The competition was open to all students enrolled at Apple Authorised Training Centres for education around Europe, and Tom was one of only four finalists selected to attend Apple's Executive Briefing Centre in London for the awards ceremony.

Tom won around £2,000 worth of prizes, including a laptop computer.
