A SHEFFIELD church is tuning up ready for an annual music festival - with organisers promising the best one yet.
St John's Church in Ranmoor will host its fifth May Music Festival between May 1 and 24, featuring eight different concerts and welcoming many special guests.

The festival begins with the Ascension Day Eucharist on Thursday May 1 featuring St John
's choirs with a string quartet, but is officially opened with a performance of Vivaldi Glorah and Haydn Little Organ Mass on the following Saturday.

Tickets are available from Ranmoor Parish Centre, in Ranmoor Park Road, by emailing don@stsjohnsranmoor.org.uk or calling 0114 2301199. Log onto www.stjohnsmusic.org.uk for full programme details.
