POTTERS and a painter have benefited from grants handed out to arts projects in north Derbyshire.
Derbyshire Arts Partnership has awarded sums totalling £3,000 to seven applicants.

Clare Gage, of Chesterfield, who uses textures and techniques from weaving, embroidery and jewellery in the production of ceramic pieces has received £500.

Fello
w potter Susan Mulroy, of Bakewell, who runs ceramics workshops, has received the same amount and watercolourist Greg Howard, of Chesterfield, was awarded £386 for his website, brochures and business cards.
