International environmental lawyer Teresa Hitch-cock, who is the Sheffield-based national head of DLA Piper's safety, health and environment group, has joined Business in the Community's Yorkshire and Humber Bus-iness Leaders Environment Team.
The team is made up of chief executives, board directors and senior business figures and aims to champion Business in the Community's (BITC's) environment programme within the region's business community.

The new group forms part of BiTC's enviro
nment campaign, which is working in partnership with Carbon Action Yorkshire to spread the 'green' message to companies.

Teresa has been a leading figure in the South Yorkshire Green Business Club for many years and is also a board member for Sheffield First for Environment, the local partnership established to champion environmental issues in the area.
