Corus has appointed new site directors for its Rotherham and Stocksbridge steelworks.
Mark Broxholme, former director of Aldwarke Cast Products, becomes site director for Corus' Rotherham operations, in Aldwarke and Brins-worth.
Meanwhile, Colin Muncie, former director of specialised products for Corus Engin-eering Steels, becomes si
te director of Corus' Stocks-bridge works.

Corus Engineering Steels' managing director Kees Stolwijk has been appointed divisional managing director of operations and his commercial responsibilities will be assumed by Peter Hogg, formerly the director of Corus' wire rod business.

Mark Broxholme, 49, was born in Sheffield and joined the steel industry 27 years ago, after graduating, and has worked mostly in South York-shire, but also at Corus' London headquarters and in Holland.
He has managed steelmaking, casting and rolling mills.

Colin Muncie, 53, started work as a graduate in the Rotherham steelworks in 1978, and has had a number of roles in the steel industry, including two years leading a US plates business and responsibility for running Corus' Teesside operations.

Corus employs 1,650 people in Rotherham, including 300 researchers and engineers at its Rotherham technology centre, and 600 people in Stocksbridge. The South Yorkshire business is one of the largest recyclers in the UK.
