Michael Elliott has retired as a partner with Sheffield solicitors Wake Smith and Tofields after 40 years with the firm.
Senior partner Michael Tunbridge said: "We are proud to have worked with Michael, he has been a valued colleague and an exceptional solicitor.

"I would like to thank and pay tribute to his long and illustrious career at Benson Clegg and also at Wake Smith and Tofields. His contribution to our department has helped to make us one of the region's leading private client teams."
