John the new managing partner

John McSweeney has taken over from Guy Baddeley as managing partner of law firm Howells. John's place as head of the firm's Rotherham office will be filled by Mary Rose Macadam.
Isabel Lloyd Jones has succeeded Graham Hogarth as head of the Howells' civil department and family partner Jonathan Whybrow has become head of legal services at Hull Community Legal Advice Centre.

Mr Hogarth has become director of legal services
at Leicester Community Legal Advice Centre.

Howells is providing the legal expertise for both the Leicester and Hull Community Legal Advice Centres, after joining forces with A4e to win the tenders to set up one stop shops for community legal services in both cities.

The law firm is also working with A4e on Community Legal Services Direct – a national telephone advice services which helps callers with a wide range of legal matters.
