IT'S a scandal how some companies penalise customers for being loyal.
Stewart Thompson, of Swinburne Avenue, Adwick-le-Street, Doncaster, was annoyed when he saw Setanta Sports TV was offering subscriptions at £130-a-year – when he was paying £180.

His appeals to be treated fairly fell on deaf ears, and when he turned to Action Desk so did ours.

We rang and emailed the firm but no one answered. But after further attempts, it has finally come good.

ACTION
A SETANTA spokesman said they would cut his subscription to £130 and make a £50 refund for this year.

Stewart said: "Thanks for your efforts, I was getting nowhere."
