SCAM competition prize draws and lottery wins keeping arriving on the Action desk, thanks to public-spirited readers who want others to be warned.
Old favourite Unclaimed Prize Register is sending out leaflets telling recipients they have 'definitely been selected to receive an award'.

But 'winners' have to call a premium rate 09061 number - and are then have to listen to a seven-minute mess
age.

The firm is also issuing posh letters, such as the one received by Edna Tyas, of East Road, Arbourthorne, Sheffield.

The 'final reminder' even asks if Edna wants the local newspapers informed if she wins the £25,000 top prize!

Meanwhile fake letters from Spain's Loteria Primitiva are circulating again, promising megabucks in prizes - this one's for 915,810 euro.

Remember you can't win something you didn't enter, even if you have been to Spain and your memory is clouded by sangria.
