right image It will include an exclusive photo and signing session plus a pair of tickets for the show featuring frontman vocalist Joe Elliot, bass player Rick Savage, drummer Rick Allen, guitarists Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell. Four runners up will get a pair of tickets each.

The band has sold over 65 million albums world wide - with hits including Let's Get Rocked, Pour Some Sugar On Me, Armageddon It, Animal, Photograph, Rock Of Ages, Hysteria and Love Bites.

Def Leppard, Britain’s greatest arena rock band, will play a series of headline shows and select festivals across Europe this summer - including this Support bands are Cheap Trick and The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Since their debut release in 1980 they have proved themselves one of rock music’s hardest working and consistently powerful live bands, playing to over 50 million fans in the last 15 years alone.

The European shows come fresh off the back of Def Leppard playing 100 shows to one million fans in the US through 2005 alone. They are one of only five rock groups who can claim two separate original 10 million plus selling albums in the US. The others are The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Van Halen.

Yeah!, their new covers album, draws on the band’s influences and inspirations - from the 70’s glam of the Sweet, T Rex and Mott the Hopple through to the classic rock of Thin Lizzy and Free, from the unique British flavour of Bowie and The Kinks through to the punk leanings of Blondie. It is a celebration of classic songs in the unique Def Leppard style and includes songs by The Faces, ELO, John Kongos (with a song later utilised by The Happy Mondays) and Roxy Music.
